Mr Martin Bouwmeester
General Manager – Corporate / Company Secretary
Martin has 13 years' experience in the gold mining industry and was Business Development Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Perseverance Corporation Limited. Martin was a key member of the team that evaluated the sulphide mineralisation at the Fosterville Gold Mine; an initiative that led to the discovery and definition of more than 3 million ounces of gold and the funding for the development of the mine and processing plant to exploit those resources.
Mr Sean Cahoon
Chief Financial Officer
Sean has been a Certified practicing Accountant for over 14 years and has 16 years experience in both the manufacturing industry the gold mining industry.Sean has held positions of Group Financial Controller and Mine Commercial Manager with Perserverance Corporation Limited and was a key member of the team that developed and established the finance and commercial departments for the Fosterville Gold Mine. He was also instrumental in the commercial and financial combination of Perserverance and Leviathan Resources Limited in December 2006 and the takeover between Perseverance and Northgate Minerals in October 2007.
Mr Shane Hart
General Manager – Walhalla Gold Project
Shane has 28 years experience in underground mining operations including 15 years as Underground Operator/Supervisor throughout Western Australia. Shane has spent the last 13 years in Senior Management positions within W.M.C, Newcrest, C.S.A. and C.N.G.C operations in roles ranging from Mining Superintendent to Underground Manager. Shane’s strong focus has been involved with high speed development and narrow vein mining. Shane was also Production Manager for the Emperor Goldmines Vatakoula Operations in Fiji.
Dr Jim Anderson
General Manager - Exploration
Jim is an exploration geologist with 19 years' experience including 12 years in gold exploration. Jim’s initial training was in Central Victoria and New South Wales and after completing a PhD (part of which related to the Walhalla goldfield), Jim worked extensively in Western Australia’s goldfields including the last eight years with Tanami Gold NL. Jim has a strong grounding in structural geology which will greatly assist in the geological interpretation of the controls on mineralisation within the Walhalla Gold Project and in prioritising exploration targets to be drill tested.
